Boasting a design based on Adam Nitti's preferred specifications, the Ibanez ANB205-TWB 5-string bass guitar packs spectacular looks and the ultra-flexible tone shaped by real Bartolini pickups. Looking at the 3-piece maple neck, the 24-medium-fret maple fretboard and the extra scoop cut on the back, it's safe to say Ibanez went all-out for the build of this premium bass. The transparent wine red burst finish serves to take the aesthetics to an even higher level, while the included deluxe gig bag is nothing short of a welcome bonus.

Flexible Bartolini Pickups

In terms of electronics, Ibanez have opted to deck out the ANB205-TWB signature with passive Bartolini 59CBJD pickups, which cover a larger and more resonant frequency range. Cast in epoxy, these pickups actively counter feedback while the NTMB+F preamp has been tailored to Nitti's ideal settings for an extremely bright and transparent sound that can be tweaked using the volume, balance and 3-band EQ controls. To finish, Ibanez have fitted a 3-way mid-range frequency selector switch that can be set to 250Hz, 500Hz or 800Hz.
